I used to write for Network World at IDG, and did a few neat things there.

This one time, I installed the 25-year-old Windows 1.0 on my Windows 7 computer and tried to use it. Here’s what happened.

I did a similar experiment with IE6 and Netscape.

I survived an interview with free software icon Richard Stallman. And I angered a whole ton of Android fanatics by switching to the iPhone. (People take these things personally.)
